Book #17:So far it's a slow ride in this love story. Not much passion. I'm in love with the man in the cover photo for sure. Turner is growing on me.Bridget is an independent, intelligent, capable and strong woman so she can definitely hold her own with Turner.After getting some back story into Turner, he starts to become a character you can fall for.Their relationship falls short on the passion and chemistry. Especially after reading Brundar's story.Turner came up with a plan against the sex trade, let's see how that goes, because it sounds very expensive to pull off.We don't know if Turner is a Dormant, hopefully there will be some reveal coming that will make him a Dormant. He would make a great asset to the clan.I'm rooting for Roni and Sylvia. Poor Roni has tried so many times to transition.We really didn't get to see much of the previous characters.I'm hoping for some action and passion in the next book.Book #18:I'm not really feeling the love or passion between Turner and Bridget. They are so boring to me.The love scenes are boring. There is no heat to their scenes at all.I am happy for Robert and enjoy seeing him getting a shot at love. Sharon is a pistol so she would be great for him.Roni gets another shot at transitioning.Jackson is still my favorite and although we don't get to see much of him anymore, I hope we get more of him.I like this series and they have all been passionate and on fire. This couple is a very slow burn. I don't feel the passion. There hasn't been any action. I'm hoping the pace will pick up in the next one.Book #19:Such a long ride in the transition for Turner. It's great to see the love grow between Turner and Bridget. Turner turns out to be a decent man who keeps a strong hold on his responsibilities and wants to hold on to family.Annani makes her appearance and as always, schemes with the best of intentions. Kian knows that it may be impossible for Turner to ever transition not only because he may not be a Dormant, but because he also has Cancer. So he seeks Annani's help to give Turner a better chance at transitioning.Eva and Bathian's wedding. It was so quick, I wish there was more story to their nuptuals.Nick and Ruth are hitting it off, but that is another slow, drawn out love story brewing.Mark aka the ghost friend of Nathalies' makes a short appearance to once again help the clan by helping Turner. I wonder if Turner will ever tell anyone about the "ghost" who aided him. I wonder if there will be more appearances of Mark. Has Nathalie spoken with any ghosts since giving birth?Who is this new character "Wonder" who has been introduced? Is she Roni's grandmother?Looking forward to the next chapter in this series.Overall, another great couple in the series.
